Message from the Chairs

Welcome to the official site of the Gwen Tross Foundation for Nursing Research. The Foundation was established in March of 2007 and named after Nurse Gwendolin Tross of Georgetown, Guyana for her dedication to building up the Bachelor of Science Nursing Programme at the University of Guyana.

The purpose of the Foundation is to provide funding to BSc Nursing students at the University of Guyana to carry out research-related activities on local public health issues. The rationale behind the Foundation’s activities is to encourage public health research activity in Guyana and provide funding to help students carry out their learning objectives.
